Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website!
I'm Kate Holmen and I'm proud to introduce my affix, K8'sK9s. Established in 2016 when I began breeding my beloved Stafford, Quinn. Before that, my parents and I bred under the affix MedCity, which produced Quinn. I handled Quinn to her AKC Grand Champion title as a junior handler, along with Coursing Ability and Novice Barn Hunt titles.
Today, I’m honored to serve as an AKC Breeder of Merit and an AKC All-Breed Junior Showmanship judge. I am currently the youngest AKC approved breeder judge for Staffordshire Bull Terriers. I'm actively involved in the breed community through multiple leadership roles:
• Junior Committee Chair for the Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club of America (SBTCA)
• Administrative Assistant for the SBTCA Judges Education Committee
• Founding Member, Treasurer, and Junior Committee Chair for the Heartland Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club
• Member of several local All-Breed AKC Clubs
In addition to my work in the dog world, I’m pursuing a degree in Veterinary Nursing. My mission is twofold: to give back to both the Stafford and veterinary communities, and to breed high-quality, fully health-tested Staffords with sound structure, solid temperaments, and joyful personalities. Dogs who thrive in loving forever homes.
